Something more special:
Peploes on the Green is a personal favourite and an excellent choice if you are looking for something a bit more special. Modeled on the famous ‘Ivy’ restaurant in London but with an Irish twist, Peploes offers both a bar menu and an excellent fine dining menu. This restaurant also has one of the finest wine menus in Dublin. Click here to view location/directions.
Ely Wine Bar on Ely Place is another favourite. They offer a delicious and varied menu of European style cuisine in intimate and cosy surroundings. Click here to view location/directions

Irish Dancing and Music Shows
The Arlington Hotel located in Temple Bar and beside O’Connell Bridge offers one of the best Irish dancing shows in the city. You can enjoy a dinner and show package from only €24.50 per person. Otherwise you can view the show free of charge in the bar if you purchase drinks. Click here to view location/directions.
The Irish House Party
This is definitely a show that is worth considering if you are looking for something fun and lively, that has all the elements of Irish music and dancing but perhaps not as twee as some shows. The venue is approximately a 20 minute walk from the guest house. Click here to view location/directions.
The Merry Ploughboy located on the outskirts of Dublin is another option. Again enjoy an excellent evening of dining and traditional Irish entertainment. This pub is little more difficult to get to but we are happy to arrange a taxi to the venue and back or there is a shuttle service operating from the city centre to the venue. If you would rather do a pub crawl or a fun and entertaining walking tour of Dublin then please ask us about the Literary and Musical Pub Crawls of Dublin. Both tours are extremely popular and they are a great way to meet other people whilst also enjoying the odd pint or two on the way!
